Captain Mandible Says Hello

For cathartic reasons, I deleted my livejournal after keeping it for more than three years. It contained all of the darkness that I no longer wish to hold onto, and Cities Beneath the Sea is now my central location within the wires. This doesn't really change anything. I just wanted to mention it.

Mette and I are currently working our way through the James Heriot TV series on DVD. I love them.

I read some of the vet books years and years ago but I can't remember them now.

All Creatures Great and Small is the first that I've read. It was recommended by a good friend of mine, and I'm really enjoying it.

I didn't know there was a TV series. I'll have to find it and add it to my Netflix queue.

Its a total classic of Brit TV. My favourite is Robert Hardy as Siegfried Farnon

Netflix has them, and I added them to my list. If they're anything like the book, I know they'll charm me.
